His music is more than entertainment, but a true form of self-expression, sharing his story of overcoming struggles and making something of himself by following his dreams, no matter what. Much like iconic artists such as Juice WRLD, XXXTENTACION or Lil Peep, Buddylicious is not afraid to share his emotions, combining the punch of trap with some intuitive and personal lyrics that stray from the usual cliches. “Drug Addict” is a song that’s open and personal, and it deals with the artist’s memories of coping with drug and abuse in his family growing up, as well as in his own life. Thankfully, the birth of Buddylicious’s son inspired him to change his path and embrace a different life.
