Bradley Stone & Sonik – Fly To You:
Byron Bay singer-songwriter, Bradley Stone, has released his single, Fly to You, in collaboration with Sydney songwriting and production duo, David Gugliotta and Daniel Diaz of SONIK.
The single has been described as an eclectic blend of guitars, organic and electronic sounds that meld together beautifully.
With a sound that is reminiscent of the late American singer-songwriter and guitarist, Jeff Buckley, Bradley Stone is known for his soulful indie pop music. He has enjoyed success with recent releases On the Moon and Lover, which reached number one on Triple J Unearthed last year. His latest release, Fly to You, is about not being able to shake the feeling of someone and always finding yourself trying to fill the space they once occupied.
Fly to You opens with the gentle, evocative strumming of guitar, which has become synonymous with this talented young artist. Stone’s rich voice rises and falls, and soon soars, becoming even more zealous as the track reaches its climax. A captivating and memorable tune in which guitar is prominent throughout, Stone’s alluring vocals succeed in both soothing and exhilarating the listener right to the end.
“Making this track was such a crazy experience, working with the guys at SONIK,” enthused Stone. “It’s very different from the music that we usually both make, so it took some time for us to relax and see what came out. I’m keen to create something with the SONIK boys again soon!”
Sydney-based producers and songwriters, SONIK, has worked with some of Australia’s finest upcoming artists, including electronic pop duo, Polarheart, and X-Factor finalist, Georgia Denton. “Working with Brad has been an amazing experience,” said Producer, Gugliotta. “What an exceptional songwriter and musician. We look forward to working on more tracks in the future.”
