Jennifer Claude is an American R&B/Soul Singer, and is an artist in every other sense of the word. Stylistically influenced by Gospel, Jazz, NeoSoul/Soul & Blues, Jennifer admires, and studies the musicianship of artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Shirley Ceasar,India Arie, Kim Burrell, Aretha Franklin, Lisa McClendon, Prince, Maxwell, Issac Carree, Joshua Bell, Robert Glasper, Esperanza Spalding, Ledisi, Brandy Norwood, Eric Clapton, & Lahlah Hathaway -just to name a few. Growing up in Wilmington NC, Jennifer started singing for others in her church choir & began writing songs, and poetry at the age of 7 (having started playing the piano by ear at age 3).
