Presenting new single, ‘Lost Vibes‘ by Ayokip
Lost Vibes tells a story of acceptance. So often in music relationships are depicted as good or bad. It’s always a tragic ending or happily every after. In Lost Vibes Ayokipp tells the story more akin to reality: sometimes there is no good guy or bad guy. Sometimes things just don’t work out. The point of the song is to embrace that bittersweet feeling that comes after the spark of interest, the fire of passion, and the flames of the breakup has settled into a single warm coal of feeling that never truly burns out. Lost Vibes is that feeling of capturing a memory of someone and not knowing whether to feel good or bad but instead just being happy that you can feel something. Knowing you can’t ever make that call and hoping the other person doesn’t either….then wondering if its as much of a struggle for them as it is for you. The irony is Lost Vibes are a sign that the vibes aren’t really lost at all.
