Autorub’s latest single “Oh Marjorie” is a fun, catchy and refreshing listen, offering a taste of everything you’ve ever liked about rock music!
Autorub singer & composer Michael Corn, based out of NY, has written a song that seems to tick all the boxes of a hit single. The vocals are melodic, singable and memorable too. The music embraces both modern and retro elements of rock, easily meshing them into a chunky pop rocker vibe that is addictive. Bands that come to mind are Weezer, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Everclear, The Wallflowers, The Cars and Elvis Costello.
Lyrically, the song is relatable to any relationship in which one partner has taken a trip down a rabbit hole. But it remains lighthearted, comical at times, and not very political despite it’s album cover.
