ArtistRack brings to you ‘It’s the Way’ by Adam Flanders:
After spending 24 years in Los Angeles playing drums for various bands and projects like Fonda and Twinstar with The Mighty Lemon Drops guitarist David Newton, I was challenged by my wife and a couple of friends to write and record my own songs. My wife bought me a guitar and I started learning how to play enough to write some music. Smile, Fire, It’s The Way, and Firefly are the first songs I’ve written and recorded as a songwriter. Songs were recorded with Erich Talaba at the end of 2019 in Hollywood CA. Special thanks to Sebastian Ciceri for playing bass and Mike Lopez for help with guitars.
It’s the Way was the song that I always wanted to write for my wedding, but didn’t know how to play guitar enough at the time. It’s a little late, but better late than never!
