Critical Opinion to release new song, “Crooked Cops.”
March 2020 – Critical Opinion is a hip-hop group hailing from the Czech Republic. The line up consists of Bass-P and Dizz-E, two emcees with a passion for old-school hip-hop and a love for great melodies and energetic beats. Their music traces the footsteps of the iconic scene of the 90s, tipping the hat off to influential artists such as Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, as well as Snoop Dogg and Warren G, only to mention but a few.
Recently, the pair released a brand new single titled “Crooked Cops,” which is actually featured on their recent full-length album. The song is a perfect introduction to Critical Opinion’s outspoken lyrical style, which echoes the work of underground legends such as Looptrop and Sage Francis, among others.
Their sound is fresh and unapologetic, with a particular focus on creating gritty instrumentals with a lot of warmth, as well as memorable lyrics that are in-your-face, but also quite catchy.
