AJ Centerpiece is the 18th overall music release by Alex Coleman and the 15th music release with both the instrumentals and lyrics created by Alex Coleman. Released six years into his rap career, AJ Centerpiece showcases the best of what Alex has learned through trial and error.
The instrumentals were created on BTV Solo, the song lyrics were typed on Google Docs, the songs were recorded on Audacity with a Samson Go Mic usb microphone, and the songs were mastered on Bandlab. There was no recording studio, no sound deadening material, no expensive mastering. Just a fierce determination to get his music quality to the level of major record label releases. All in all, this album showcases what’s possible when an artist without high quality recording equipment decides to go balls to the wall and attempts to attain major record label song quality with nothing but drive, grit, a microphone, and a laptop. Anything is possible if you pray and work hard enough and AJ Centerpiece drives that point home with authority.
