Artistrack brings to you ‘Winter in America’ by Brandon Tew
Building on his first couple of singles and a 10 date UK tour that has bagged him plays on several BBC shows, both online and print press plus 130k streams on Spotify, Brandon is coming back with this beautiful cover of “Gill Scott Heron’s – Winter in America”.
This 3rd offering from Brandon came about while in the studio with producer Jon Withnall, who told a story of working with Gill a couple of years before he sadly passed away. Both Tew and Withnall immediately agreed this was their favourite track from late legend. They then set about producing their own version and were so pleased with the result Tew decided it would be his next release.
Brandon is finishing up this year on the release of this beautiful record, a few key support slots, time in the studio adding final tracks to his debut album and organising a big 2024.
