βImma do meβ is an alternative R&B song about working on yourself and not comparing yourself to others – sounds like a hip hop and R&B fusion with influences from pop and jazz. Think Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino, and The Weekend.
All songs were written and recorded on the same day over a manic 24-hour session recording with a mediocre microphone in my girlfriendβs closet in Austin, Texas.
Neither bipolar nonsense nor will an Austin tech job keep me from chasing this. Thankfully, Dougie Do (Magna Carda) and Beauvallis (Grammy Nominated Engineer) came through!
