Dead Poetrism introducing new studio release, Lanterns
October 2020 – Dead Poetrism started out as a solo act. However, the project is always open to collaborations as a way to bring in new ideas and new elements to the sound.
Recently, the artist put out a brand new single by the name of “Lanterns.” This song is a great calling card for Dead Poetrism, showcasing his passion for bittersweet indie melodies and personal lyrics.
The sound of this production is lush and ethereal, with a slightly darker overtone. This makes the music even more exciting and easy to relate to, thanks for the extra sonic depth. The drums, for example, are catchy and punchy, but never over-the-top or too present.
The vocals have a very intimate quality to them, but they still feel clear and intelligible, soaring above the instrumental seamlessly. Everything has its right place musically, and the song has a very balanced flow.
This song is highly recommended if you are a fan of artists such as Radiohead, Dead Rituals, Simian Ghost, as well as Cage The Elephant, only to mention a few.
