
Ontario rapper Malcom Rose is back on the scene with a brand new single, Holster.
June 2020 – Malcom Rose, all known as Matthew Hamlin, is an artist and songwriter based in Markham, Ontario (Canada). The artist just dropped a brand new studio single titled “Holster,” which combines modern hip-hop influences with a more melodic production and tons of energy.
Following his debut EP in 2018, Malcom kept inspiring his audience and growing his fanbase. This release is yet another milestone for his growing reputation as an artist, further expanding his sonic palette and exploring a huge range of influences, ranging from modern hip-hop, to pretty much anything from rock to pop and electronic music. Today, rap music is all about keeping your horizon wide and open to anything, and “Holster” is a perfect example of the work of an artist who doesn’t get stuck in the usual cliches and genre definitions out there.
