The Talking Tears - Six Magical Songs (Review)

Check out ArtistRack’s reviewΒ of ‘Six Magical Songs’ by The Talking Tears:

The Talking Tears is an artist with a focus on creating music that explores different musical styles and creative ideas. His most recent studio effort is an EP titled β€œSix Magical Songs,” which has a minimalistic sound, inspired by indie rock, alternative, and more.

The first track on the EP, β€œTears,” might remind you of artists like Radiohead or Elliott Smith. However, the second track β€œX” has a different vibe, with some cool marimba sounds adding a unique feel to the melody, in conjunction with the drums.

The song β€œGift” takes on yet another path, with some heavy synth sounds and a darker, ominous feel. The track β€œRain,” is a psych-folk song with a minimalistic feel, while β€œDrift” features prominent electronic soundscapes and beautiful atmospheric sounds.

Last, but definitely not least, β€œBelong” is a perfect closing song. This is an indie-folk tune, which makes me think of acts such as Wilco or Calexico, only to mention a few.
