Samijay - Headed for Disaster (Review)

The Samijay duet captures the distinctiveness of a pure and unspoiled old-fashioned nostalgia of musicianship on their latest single ‘Headed For Disaster’.

The brassy vocals relinquish even the most mundane sounds into transformative melodies and unparalleled harmonic tones. These colossal vocals breach through a wide emotional spectrum of deeper meaning emitting a soulful ensemble with a live-inspired set. Furthermore, these deliveries were impressive enough to be mutually exclusive from the backing instrumentation itself serving as an independent forewind.

The percussive drums punch at unexpected intervals in the song reinforcing a lively variability that each singer expands upon with timed deliveries. The immaculate polish within the production aspects of the music are monumental with a deliberate depth contained through each harmony.

Samijay is an archetypal depiction harnessing the passions of both intimacy and creative intelligence consolidated into a solitary piece of self expression. The dingy nature of the music conveys a hazy smoke infused environment bringing this reality to your very home. This music is inspired by a plethora of competing genres with a true ear for melodic performance structure and progressivism.

In summation, Headed For Distaster represents the epitome of “up-to-the minute” originality that people both respect and desire in their music.
