Sahara Grim is an eclectic musician and songwriter based in Los Angeles who aims to portray our innate human complexities as a portal for transformation through worldly vocals, jazz derived composition, and lyrics containing messages of empowerment.
βAbstractedβ is an honest expression of the inevitable mistakes we make being human and how they can actually be portals for transformation, ultimately enabling us to reach a state of empowerment. Following a non linear timeline, the videoβs sequencing enters new worlds with each section of the song and parallels the cyclical nature of life and the unexpected places we find ourselves in. The video was shot over the course of a year and a half, from Spring 2019 to September 2020, following Saharaβs personal growth as it unfolds in real time.
