Pauli Lyytinen Magnetia Orkesteri presenting their new single, ‘Rhodiola Rosea’
The long awaited album by sax virtuoso Pauli Lyytinen and his Magnetia Orkesteri ensemble. With Verneri Pohjola as the second soloist the band is in top form and maturing from the popular debut album. Widely hailed as one of the best Finnish jazz albums that year the single “Adventurous Plushies” was featured in the State of Jazz editorial playlist and Lyytinen received the Ted Curson Award. The new Hypnosis album is a direct continuation of the band’s musical ambitions and world class improv.
