E-Jayy is a hip-hop artist with a very upfront sound. His most recent release, “Bottles & Bitches” is a very unapologetic party banger, which combines modern trap beats with old school hip-hop melodies. The track has a really great intro, which really lures the listeners in. The core of the beat drops in soon after, making for a really distinctive feel.
The production is really special on this one. The instrumental has a thick, punchy sound, but it still allows some room to breathe for E-Jayy’s delivery. The vocal flow is rightfully at the forefront of the mix. E-Jayy has a very charismatic vocal tone, which combines his energetic vibe, with his lyrical wit. This track has a modern flavor, which makes me think of Childish Gambino, Joey Bada$$ or Chance The Rapper, only to mention a few! Ultimately, “Bottles & Bitches” is a song that’s incredibly engaging.
