Artistrack brings to you ‘Another Life’ by Rooftop Screamers
Rooftop Screamers releases new song “Another Life” featuring Tim Smith (Sheryl Crow, Neil Finn, Noel Gallagher, Jellyfish) on bass guitar and lead vocals. The song is about birth, death and rebirth as well as everlasting love and the idea that soul mates always find one another in different lifetimes.
Rooftop Screamers is the name of the studio project for Portland based drummer and songwriter Mike Collins. It’s an outlet to showcase his original songs and collaborate with some of his favorite local as well as world renowned singers, musicians and producers.
Collins was the drummer and founding member of the critically acclaimed Power Pop band Throwback Suburbia. Over the years he has also provided his drumming skills for some notable artists such as Earl Slick (David Bowie), Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), Cy Curnin (The Fixx), Ken Stringfellow (The Posies, R.E.M.), just to name a few.
Fans of classic artists such as The Beatles, Queen, David Bowie. Cheap Trick, ELO and Crowded House, as well as contemporary artists such as The Shins, Harry Styles, Ok Go and Butch Walker should find some common ground here.
