Shahlon presents: DA NIXON TAPES
Shahlon is a rap artist who has recently dropped one of his most daring and in-your-face projects to date: “DA NIXON TAPES”. This release, which happens to be the seventh project for Shahlon in just the span of 2 years, is a big achievement. “DA NIXON TAPES” is very diverse musically, exploring a wide array of modern and old-school hip-hop influences alike.
In addition to the colorful and diverse sound, the concept that drives the record has a unique focus to match the intensity of the music. “DA NIXON TAPES” came about after the artist read “The Laws Of Human Nature” by Robert Greene. The book inspired Shahlon to create tracks for this EP and explore some deeper concepts. The book deals with one of the darkest chapters in American politics, and with the story of former president Richard Nixon, who shocked the world with the Watergate scandal.

My name is Shahlon and I’m a rapper from The DMV area This Album DA NIXON TAPES is inspired by a chapter in The book The Laws Of Human Nature by Robert Greene in which he talks about president Richard Nixon and how he basically ignored the darker recesses of his personality specifically with The Watergate situation and the installation of tapes in The white house which lead to his impeachment . Shahlon aka President Sally is going in a different direction than Nixon being fully aware of his dark side and letting it be on full display with little to no regards of the consequences this album was produced mixed and mastered by Dilly Blud and the good folks at Blud Money Music and has one feature fellow DMV rapper StayDownSlime The cover art was done by Mountain Top Designs and was recorded during June – July period of 2022 this is Shahlon’s 7th project in two years
