Black Angel – Inglewood Jail (with Cory & Ernie Orosco)

ArtistRack brings to you ‘Inglewood Jail (with Cory & Ernie Orosco)’ by Black Angel:

Ernie and Cory Orosco were two of the greatest musicians to ever come out of Santa Barbara. Not only did they tour with the Allman Brothers (when Duane Allman was in the band) and Bruce Springsteen, they also had Ed King in their band before he left to join Lynyrd Skynyrd and helped write “Sweet Home Alabama” and other hits.

Katy Perry’s and Jewel’s first recordings were with these guys.

“Inglewood Jail” is the true story of a former Black Angel singer who was arrested and went through hell before being released from the Los Angeles County Jail.

There are great vocal performances on this song by Joe Walsh backup singer, Lois Mahalia, and Shalonda Young. Cory and Ernie Orosco both played great keyboard and guitar parts on this song.
