BC dropping now release, “Lullaby” (featuring Dana Moody)
BC is a rap artist with a really diverse tone and a very edgy vocal delivery.
He makes music with a lot of heart, and his one-of-a-kind lyrical delivery is inspiring, yet thought-provoking and emotional.
His most recent single, “Lullaby,” is a perfect example. The song has a lot of warmth, with a sound that reminds of the most amazing old-school aesthetics of the genre. The melodies are deep and cinematic, with simple strings and key samples, blending in with distorted lo-fi drums. The song has a very powerful tone, and BC’s vocal delivery reminds of pioneers of rap, such as A Tribe Called Quest, as well as Wu Tang Clan and Rakim, only to mention a few.
Dana Moody is a talented vocalist who really brought something unique to the mix. Her voice has a stunning natural musicality, which really blurs the lines between soul and R&B.
