“Henry Street is a very famous shopping street in Dublin, Ireland and this song tells the tale of a young Dublin lad in the early 1980’s, who saw a young Traveller girl singing in the winter’s cold for money. He is taken aback by the stark comparison of the amazing song and the sadness in her eyesas she stood there, draped in an old green shawl, oblivious to the crowds and cold.”
