Danish act Steen Rylander recently announced the release of an album titled βJourneys To The Center of Forever.β To celebrate this new release and give the audience a preview, he dropped a new single named βCenter of Forever,β which is currently available on Spotify (see link at the bottom). The song showcases Steen Rylanderβs diverse musical influences, giving the audience a unique taste of progressive rock and alternative influences, with somewhat of a progressive feel. With influences as diverse as Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Steen Rylander set out to create a really beautiful record, which is difficult to pinpoint, given the eclectic nature of the arrangement. The colorful nature of the song features so many creative ideas, allowing the music to breath and reach new astonishing creative highs.
Ultimately, the song traces back some of the most amazing influences from the 60s and 70s (two of the most productive decades in the history of rock) as well as giving the audience a stunning feel for what this genre could be in the 21st century.
