Grimey (out 4th Dec) is the first official single from South London rapper Starboi aka Starboi MIllz, who has teamed up with producer Rockizm whose credits include Krept & Konan, Kyze, Double S, Nyomi Gray & Joe Grind. Rockizm also gives us a taste of his vocal ability by touching on his Jamaican roots with a distinctive Reggae style hook.
Although ‘Grimey’ is Starboi’s first official release he is no stranger to the UK urban scene, having previously working alongside Sneakbo, being featured on a Rascals mixtape and being cousin to dancehall giant Stylo G.
Throughout 2015 Starboi as been busy building his profile with the release of 3 Music videos ‘Laws Of Attraction’ (spot plays on BBC 1Xtra), ‘Aint On Nuting Remix’ and ‘Weed And Hennessy’, all hosted on UK Rap YouTube channel Rap City.
