Introducing Matt Harper

Matt Harper is a songwriter, musician from Tamworth, England.

Matt’s Influences range from New Wave to New Romantic, from Bjork to Birdy, David Gray to The XX. Matt loves synthesizer music of all types, from the 70’s right up to today, either atmospheric or dance and also indie rock such as Radiohead. Matt also loves classical music and spends a lot of time learning classical and contemporary pieces on piano.

In a short musical career Matt has been promoted by several media sites around the world such as Music-Alive-Italy, Groover Radio-France, Rocknbold-Brazil who said
“This song is so beautiful and have such a important message to spread. Everything matches perfectly together. You reminded me like a mix of U2 with The Beatles”, Blue Orchid Playlist-Spain, Last Day Deaf Media-USA who shared the video to “Everyone” on their website, Eolor Media site-Brazil who said “We published your music on our special issue of the week. We hope that your art echoes around the world”

Matt signed an artist development deal with Bentley Records in New York in October 2021 and released his debut album “New Sounds” in July 2022.
