Verndolla$ is an underground artist hailing from New York, Queens to be exact but he doesn’t sound like your conventional NY artist. Influenced by artists like IDK, Earl sweatshirt, Tyler the Creator & A$AP Rocky Verndolla$ is an artist from Queens, New York with a lot to say. Vern began his career with his LP “August..” detailing his heartbreak after being cheated on in a relationship he took seriously. Vern will show you why it’s a good idea to have him on a song, His bars are always presented with a flow that will make you play the song back. His distinct “Yeah, aye” in between sentences will reel you in from the beginning of a song but by the time you realize you’ll already be a fan. From slow emotional songs to bangers about clothes, wwe wrestlers & the stigma of the hood & what people from the hood often like to take part in to classic boom bap tracks, Vern will give you something catchy with a message deeper than you think.

Queens, New York originally from East Elmhurst but as of 2010 I move to south jamaica queens & the rest is history

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?
My latest release was a 4 song EP titled “$hit 4 U 2 Smoke To”. Basically Over the Covid-19 quarantine Vern has been smoking marijuana nonstop, so here’s a few songs to smoke to. This small collection of music is mixed with sounds from the original X-box released in 2002.
How have you ended up in the music industry?
Independently & Underground. I’ve just been working hard with no team, label not even a manager 😂
What do you think of the music industry in 2020?
It’s shady asf, artists be scared to be show love & nobody fucks with you until everyone fucks with you.
Who do you think the most influential artist?
I don’t think there’s one artist in particular that more influential then the rest, I feel like every artist influences another cause believe it or not artists listen to each other’s music. Everyone learns from someone
Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
So far just Kota the friend, but in hoping to work with others in the coming future once the opportunity presents itself
How do you think you differ from other artists?
The words I choose to say as well as how I say them. Then on top of that my beat selection & cadences are things that stand out about me

my next coming project is about being an underground artist & how one can struggle being independent. I feel like i’m claiming my music & keeping it from these labels.
What’s in the pipeline after this project?
All i’m gonna say is i’m going to make Wrestling Attitude era music
