Kristina Menissov began her career as a model in Los Angeles in 2017. Since starting Kristina became a cover model for VOGUE Mexico, Harpers BAZAAR Vietnam, GLAMOUR Bulgaria InSTYLE Moldova, ELLE Arabia and many more has worked with Fashion Houses as CARTIER, CHOPARD, BALMAIN, SAINT LORANT, ROBERTO CAVALLI, GIVENCHY, MICHAEL NGO, MICHAEL COSTELLO, and JOVANI DRESSES, Alersundi, VOGUE portugal published brand Karen Sabag Rever, and AREA, AFFFAIR.FFF by Rufat Ismayil, Mahrukh Akuly Jewelry, Ivan Young Official, Rita Vinieris, She has also graced the runway in LOS ANGELES FASHION WEEK and MIAMI SWIM WEEK last season walking for Nia Lynn Collection by Nicole Williams English not to mention starring in TYGA’S “IBIZA” music video, modeling for CHRIS APPLETON’S YouTube Channel, and appearing in MODEL’S TALK. A former Italian trained Opera Singer, Kristina has parlayed her modeling career into a blossoming singing career. She recently signed with the famed music producer ANDREW LANE who is known for such superstars as THE BACKSTREET BOYS and IRENE CARA. Her first single, “TAKING OVER LA” was released last summer and the lyric video collaboration with VEVO got thousands of views (link attached earlier). Another hit single with Italian DJ Marzia Dorlando entitled “BREAKOUT” is breaking records in European Night Clubs her single with CANSEL “CROWN” in first months gained love in USA and Turkey. April 8th she released her single with Tamara Kumbula “HER STORY”.
She also is launching her matching clothing line “Mini & Mom” inspired by her son.
Where are you from?
I was raised in Kazakhstan; my dad is from Ethiopia and right now I am living my dream life in my favorite city in the world – Los Angeles
How long have you been making music?
I became serious about making music in 2020 that’s when I released my first song with the music video Taking Over LA.
How many songs /albums have you released to date?
Since that time, I have released 4 songs
Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?
HER STORY is a song that I wrote during the 2020 events. This is when I educated myself on the topic of Police brutality. At that time people learned that it is a real issue, but what I didn’t expect is the number of victims that nobody spoke about, and media didn’t give attention to them. As an artist most of my worries turns into art/music.
How have you ended up in the music industry?
I was always interested in pursuing different music other than opera and was lucky enough to meet music producer Andrew Lane who has worked with numerous artists, and we started working together.
What do you think of the music industry in 2022?
We are blessed to have this opportunity to release songs in our own without any labels and we have a chance to change this industry.
Who do you think the most influential artist?
I would say Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa those 2 women not only great performers, but they give us messages in each song and try to motivate us.
Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
Cansel Corduk is another artist that I’ve collaborated with she is originally from Turkey and lives in Los Angeles now we are filming a music video to our song CROWN that we’ve release a few months ago, so stay tuned!
How do you think you differ from other artists?
I think my cultural background gives me a unique perspective to music which I express through my lyrics,
Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?
Beyoncé to collaborate with this legend with mean the world to me, I mean even be on the same stage as her with be dream come true already!
What was the first album you bought?
It was Alicia Keys Unplugged, and I’ve listened to it every day, so my neighbors had a chance to listen to some good music 😂
What’s your favourite song at the moment?
I love Dua Lipa’s song Levitating. And Manskin Beggin’
If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your draw?
It wouldn’t matter because I can always download it again, no? If I didn’t have access to a way to download my music collection, I would have to keep all my Alicia Keys’ albums.
What is your favourite saying?
That you’re not inspired doesn’t mean you don’t have to be productive.
What other hobbies or interests do you have?
I work as a model a lot, so this is something I love to do as well as performing and writing music. I love to go to the beach, and I want to learn how to surf this summer. I enjoy snowboarding too. And most importantly I love quality time with my son.
Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
I still have a belly button piercing I used to have on my upper lip, and I have a little tattoo on my right shoulder.

I am excited to release series of NFT art video for our song HER STORY this summer follow my Instagram page to be the first one to know about the date.
What’s in the pipeline after this project?
I am collaborating with an amazing singer Ninelle and we are releasing another hit “Move Your Body” in 4 weeks. We are so excited to show this song to you guys!
