Ian Jones is a songwriter and touring artist from the Pacific Northwest. Raised in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, Ian has spent the last three decades writing music, making records and touring the US. The song “You Can’t” was written about having to cut a lifelong friend out of your life. “One of the toughest things to do is to cut out a friend that you’ve had your whole life,” said Jones. “Those friendships forged when you’re young are the strongest, and the most precious. It’s a tough thing to do, but sometimes the best thing to do to move on and surround yourself with people that are true friends.” “You Can’t” was featured on the full length album ‘Results not Typical’ which was released in April of 2023 and spent over 7 weeks in the AMA top 100 charts.
