Dutch-born singer-songwriter Erwin de Ruiter brings his signature storytelling and rich, heartfelt melodies to the forefront with the release of his country-infused single “On The Wagon”, taken from his 2020 EP Mother of Lost Souls. Erwin de Ruiter first made waves in the 1980s as a professional musician, performing with various bands and opening for legendary acts such as Echo & The Bunnymen, The Clash, The Only Ones, The Shirts, and The B-52’s in Amsterdam. After a hiatus, he reignited his passion for songwriting in 2012, crafting evocative music that has since gained international recognition.
De Ruiter’s songs have found their way onto major soundtracks, including placements in TV series Reign and Star, as well as the Netflix film Debt Collector 2. His work transcends genres, with his track “When The World Is On You”featured in a fashion campaign for renowned Italian label Nero Giardini.
