Emiko drops her new single: Pushin’ On
The Garage Piano Series EP 1 started as an impromptu project after Emiko found a perfectly good upright piano on the street while walking her dog, Victoria. The EP is a collection of songs that Emiko wrote once the piano was moved into her garage (hence “The Garage Piano Series”), filming the creation of each song in real time to give audiences the opportunity to see how the songwriting process unfolds. “Pushin’ On” is a nod to a conversation over lunch that Emiko had with a fellow songwriter friend, discussing the current state of the industry and how best to navigate the creative journey moving forward.
Emiko is an award winning composer for film and television, and a chart topping songwriter. She is most recently known for having appeared with Cyndi Lauper (playing keyboards), Major Lazer and Marcus Mumford (playing keytar) and currently resides in LA.
