Data.Soul – My Data Soul

Data.Soul Debuts with Electrifying Single “My Data Soul” — A Genre-Bending Exploration of Identity and Technology

LONDON / ATHENS / DUBLIN – Melding visceral musicality with philosophical depth, Data.Soul bursts onto the alternative music scene with the stunning debut single “My Data Soul.” The new track, now available on all major streaming platforms, is the first offering from the highly anticipated self-titled Data.Soul EP, set for release later this year.

A dynamic new collaboration between Shane Regan (aka Akrobat), Athens-based electronic artist Thomas Patas (Solid Skin), and experimental musician Selen Korkutan, Data.Soul channels raw emotion through a kaleidoscopic sound. With fuzzed-out guitar textures, retro-futuristic synth layers, and haunting vocal tones, “My Data Soul” delivers a euphoric listening experience that pushes the boundaries of indie rock, electronic pop, soul, and experimental electronica.

“This project explores the blurred lines between our physical and digital identities—where data ends and the soul begins,” says Shane Regan. “We wanted to make something emotionally resonant and sonically adventurous.”

“My Data Soul” is not only a standout track—it’s a statement of intent. From the opening notes, the song conjures a widescreen atmosphere full of dreamlike urgency. The production is lush yet raw, with a sound that evolves on repeat listens. Anchored by contributions from Joe Lyons (Fast Money Music) on bass and Callum Brown (Ulrika Spacek) on drums, the track was recorded at Palace Garden Studios in London and mastered by Neil Pickles at Pierce Music Studio.

A New Force in Alternative and Electronic Music

Data.Soul is a cross-border project born from years of artistic exploration across Dublin, London, and Athens. With a unique fusion of analog grit and digital sensibility, the trio offers a sonic experience that is both deeply human and conceptually forward-thinking.

Whether you’re a fan of Radiohead, Massive Attack, Tame Impala, or Beach House, this debut single is a must-listen for 2025.
