Dan Perry is a 20 year-old pop artist from Minnesota who draws inspiration from other artists such as Shawn Mendes, LANY, and Lauv. At 14 years old, he started singing and learning how to playing the acoustic guitar. After a couple years of song writing and guitar playing, Dan soon started to share his original music with the public. From open mics to school performances, Dan found that people enjoyed his music and that his music was meant to be shared with more people than just friends and family. At 18 years of age, Dan was invited by a friend to record at a local studio in Fridley MN. After one session, Dan quickly began spending every evening at the studio. Working with artist manager Erik Azizi, Dan soon began to blossom as an artist and released his first single, “Your Love is a Heavy Dose.” This single has found its way into local clubs and is turning ears towards this young artist and his up and coming music.
Dan seeks to make music that is wholesome and sends positive messages to all audiences. Whether the songs make the listener feel happy or sad a story is sought to be told through the lyrics such that the song goes beyond the soundtrack.
