Continuing the journey and a love of all things guitar rock, the latest four song release ‘Neanderthal’ throws another entry into the musical world from Bobby Quick. Founding Indie group “Zero Parade” vocalist and guitarist from Akron Ohio, brings traits from the Zero Parade days with songs that question technologies impact on the individual (Neanderthal), tries to search for some keys to life in the song “Giving”, and rounds out the “shorty” disk with the free wheeling rocker “Take Me Back”, and his version of the Hollies classic “I Can’t Let Go”. Starting his recording career in Akron with Engineer / Limiter guru Jack Trowbridge, he continued his experience in Nashville working with the legendary producer / engineer, Justin Neibank. The experiences have led him to a comfortable happy place, where the writing circumvents the recording, a la “the “replacements meets the Rolling Stones”!
