Mr. Woodland was born in Decatur, Il, but has grown up in Kansas City, MO since the age of 13. Mr. Woodland has a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Concordia-Portland. Mr. Woodland has always had passion for teaching and music. After becoming a father, Mr. Woodland noticed himself rapping colors, shapes, and letters to his son. Now at age 29, he’s decided to use his two passions to empower youth through education. After recording his first children’s song “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Mr. Woodland shared it with a few friends and family. Mr. Woodland was encouraged by the response and decided to pursue his passion.
