I wrote this song on Christmas Day my girlfriend of 15 years didnβt come home on Christmas Eve however she showed up on Christmas morning to tell me she was leaving me for another man.
This song is not a sad song but my answer to a very sad sequence of events. It only has a couple of lines that relate directly to Christmas… this is both a year round song and a Christmas song itβs relatable all times of the year and at Christmas. Itβs not at all sad if you listen to the words itβs about recognizing all the good things in life and not dwelling on the sadness.
