I wanted to share a new track with you that I think would be a perfect fit for your soul, summer, and chill playlists. “Imagine – SoulCare Live in Buenos Aires” was recorded in the heart of Buenos Aires during a concert in March at Thelonious Jazz Club in Palermo, as part of the band’s tour “SoulCare Meets Buenos Aires.” This track beautifully blends the soulful notes of the Spanish guitar played by Hernan Romero, seamlessly integrating with the music and notes from the rest of the band on stage.
Bio:
Born and raised in Barcelona, SoulCare is a refined and delicate Jazz Band with a touch of pop, soul, and Latin Jazz. Led by Yann Gaslain, the singer and producer of the band, SoulCare offers original songs and reinvented versions of classic tunes from all eras, crafted under the genius and talented musical artistry of Rodrigo G Pahlen as musical producer and pianist. Reflecting the spirit of the times, the music and lyrics of SoulCare fit in perfect harmony and pay homage to love and lovers, with the desire to care for our souls.
The band is composed of Yann Gaslain as the vocalist and project leader, along with a high-level ensemble. The arrangements and direction are handled by Rodrigo G Pahlen on piano and harmonica, with Guillermo Calliero, Martin Laportilla, Hernán Romero, Hernán Jacinto, Tiki Cantero, and the participation of Argentine singer Johanna Zohler.
With structural elements derived from jazz and classical music, SoulCare simultaneously traverses landscapes drawn from pop music, American standards, French chanson, and touches of Tango.
