Sema Tecino presents his fresh new single, ‘Godzilla’
Sema Tecino who also goes by the aka Black Italian is a Dublin based Nigerian Artist who has been in the underground urban scene in Ireland for quite a while now. Primarily an afro infusion artist but this guy has a blend of all genres combined in his style. From Rap to hip hop , afrobeats, and even dancehall.
His latest single Godzilla – he says was coined to mean a beautiful lady with a big bum bum / backside – Face of a goddess but her back side – Zilla’ – (which means something monstrous or ridiculous…) As we all know the movie Godzilla and also general knowledge tells us this is a very big / huge animal, nonetheless a beautiful creation of God too. Also Godzilla is known for its power. In the same way a woman is a beautiful and powerful creature but if you add the extra backpack you can see where the comic undertone comes in. This track is to praise and woo big ladies who prior to this new age may have been ashamed of themselves or body – instead we now celebrate the thick n curvy. I believe this track has a very direct connection to our everyday lives. Despite the main focus and theme of the track – lyrics were still kept clean with no vulgarities all through.
A mix of everything in Sema’s usual fashion – from rap to some ragga melodies to pidgeon english it’s got it all – it’s a happy song to praise our ladies with a hint of sexy too – cos it won’t hurt lol
