A little bit Motown, a little bit Stax, but all me.

I’m an American soul singer living in the northwest of Ireland. Ive opened for Chuck Berry twice who called me “The Real Deal.” I perform soul, funk, jazz and blues with an Irish backing band and am influenced by Curtis Mayfield, Bessie Smith, Ray Charles, and Nina Simone. here in Ireland.

My current single ‘Go’, shortlisted for the IMRO Christie Hennessy Songwriting Contest, is old school classic 60s soul with a Motown inspired bass line (I use #MirendaGo to promote ‘Go’). My upcoming single ‘Don’t Sacrifice’ (to be released on 10 November)’ is soul with a 70’s edge and shifting moods featuring crisp horn lines and a gospel inspired bridge.
