Kimia Jay is an emerging artist, multi-instrumentalist from Toronto, Canada.
Aiming to express her passion for making music through creating catchy dark, melancholic melodies that progress to become distortive, groovy statements. Expanding the boundaries between pop and electronic, Kimia’s influences vary across different genres. Think Lana Del Rey meets Lorde.
Her debut single ‘Mind Games’, released on June 10th; this track is about the downward spiral one can get into when you’re stuck overthinking every little aspect of a relationship.
Currently, she’s working on releasing her second single which will be released in August.
