Jon Harris presents his new single release, ‘Think of Me’
The long awaited for new song from New York rapper Jon Harris is finally here! Jon Harris is back and seems to keep up with his delivery of providing quality music that is easy to listen to but also relatable. The new song by Jon Harris is called “Think of Me”.
“Think of Me” is a song about someone that you have connected with on a whole other level and they are gone. You miss them so much but, for whatever the circumstances are, you can’t communicate with them. This leaves you to just think of them from time to time and wonder if they think of you as often. Jon never mentions love or romance and has stated that was purposely done because it “it doesn’t always have to be about sex and romance”.
Jon states he got the inspiration for the song from missing a few people some he dated, some were just really good friends, and a person he said he met and instantly connected with, not romantically, at a specific location knowing they would never see each other again and from time to time thinks of them. He said when he thinks of this song he imagines on of his favorite movies “Lost in Translation” starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. The movie is about to strangers from the United States in Japan for separate reasons practically alone but find comfort having each other’s company being the only people to speak english. They bond over a period of a few days but have to leave without exchanging any information to communicate later.
