Accidental rapper, so what if I’m a cracker?
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Thick White has an authentic southern twang with inspirations from UGK, Jay Z, and Cash Money. She spent 10 years in university and has triple degrees and is currently a university lecturer in China. She was trying to write a stand up comedy routine for one year, but the jokes were just not coming out right until 3 months ago when a friend suggested writing them into a rap song. She is now in month 4 of her rapping career and has 25 songs recorded, one hip hop comedy spoof mixtape entitled ‘The Leopard Print’ due out in October 2015 and one album called ‘Money Over $nitches’ due out next year. Additionally she will release her first single ‘Trophy Wife’ available on iTunes in October, along with a video for the song on Vevo. She writes all of her own lyrics and has 16 original beats on the album and mixtape combined.
