Granite to Glass proudly presents new single, ‘Paradise’
Brooklyn-based Granite to Glass is a singer songwriter indie-folk chamber ensemble that pairs intimate and arresting lyrics with cinematic string arrangements. The group aims to envelope each audience in positive introspection with which to heal and reflect through music.
βParadiseβ is the 3rd track on the LP βfor when you need thisβ. The prayer-like single lyric repeated throughout the song over and over again alludes to the despair of losing a loved one, and the ensuing desperate wonder of what the afterlife possibly looks like reuniting with them there.
Loss is inevitable in every personβs life. Grief often feels like it should be dealt with alone. The hope is to express through this piece that while it may feel that way, it is not the case.
