Fair Weather Morons are a pair of musicians who love writing and recording and producing songs in any genre or style. They have a very wide range of influences from Hip Hop to Japanese punk bands and everything in-between.
The song starts with an elderly lady very happily chopping vegetables in her kitchen, when a song comes on, on the radio which causes her to reminisce on when she was a beautiful young woman with the world at her feet. The song title Daruma is about the time she would walk to the Shrine with a small Daruma in her pocket.
A Daruma are often used to set goals. When a person makes a wish or sets a goal, they paint one eye on the doll. When the goal is achieved, they paint the other eye.
