Making his debut on Nurvous Records with the ‘Home EP’ is Crimsen.

Mentored by UK chillstep goliath, Phaelah, and taking his musical cues from a disparate cross-section of artists such as Nathan Barato, Jamie Jones and Manual De La Mare, Crimsen marries powerful rhythms, clever sound design and an open-minded approach to create exceptional tracks that defy genre.

Injecting new energy in the House music aesthetic is a tall order for anyone, but on title track, ‘Home’, Crimsen marries the silky percussive rhythms of UK Garage with a fierce 808 kick and Indian instrumentation. The result is a melting pot of influences smoothed out into an engaging and soulful breaks track. On ‘When U’ that Garage energy is intensified and echoes the classic vibes of a resolutely British sound. Pads and sonics swirl in the maelstrom he creates punctuated by vocal asides and clever percussive fills.
