Disney Musicals meet Video Games in this LIVE virtual reality Musical written and performed by Brendan Bradley about a non-player character in a video game struggling with grief and mental health. This first single from the full show captures the moment the NPC breaks the fourth wall and invites the audience to join them inside the world of the game to navigate the fives stages (or five virtual worlds) of grief and help “reprogram” their response to tragedy. Brendan spent the quarantine using XR technologies to help hundreds of artists keep performing live and has supported 25+ world premieres in virtual reality. Non-Player Character first premiered at the Mugar Omni Theater in Boson projected the virtual world on the IMAX dome screen while select audience members wore headsets and interacted live with Brendan.
