May 2020 – Ben William is a singer and songwriter based in Perth, Australia. His music has roots in genres as diverse as punk, post-hardcore and math, going for a complex, yet relatable and immediate vibe that blurs the lines between a wide range of genre definitions and aesthetics.

Recently, Ben dropped a new studio single, “Hades,” which sets the bar higher in terms of production and appeal. The great thing about Ben’s songwriting is that it also displays a lot of catchy pop-inspired influences, as he cites artists as diverse as Michael Jackson and Ed Sheeran! His most recent single release, “Hades,” is a perfect example of what we are talking about.

The track borrows its title from the lord of the underworld and darkness in greek mythology, the ruler of the home of the dead. However, this is far from being a dark song. Ben wrote “Hades” while abroad on a vacation, and he created a positive song that’s all about making the most out of life!
