Alison Fleming is a longtime English singer/songwriter from Yorkshire UK who now lives in Colorado USA. As a co-writer with composer/producer Tony Lowe, two of their albums landed on the Grammy Lists 2007 and 2008 an impressive achievement for independent artists.
The wild and angsty song, ‘Girlfriend’ is the prominent final track found on Alison’s solo album ‘Freeway’ released in 2017. Heartfelt lyrics allude to the tale of a boy and a girlfriend. The song’s atmosphere grows and develops while an emerging progressive beat/bass draws one into the track, to a cinematic finale. A blend of compositional, electro acoustic and orchestral folk-rock.
