The problem is not the “things”, your Gucci’s, your Louis’s, Balenciaga’s, status, position of power or whatever else. The problem is us as people in relation to these “things” that we have ironically created. “The pursuit of wealth is not wrong but it becomes wrong when it displaces higher ideals”. It is ok to want to possess material satisfactions and notoriety but don’t let yourself be possessed by the new “American Dream”. Freedom is now, not in the future.
