PNAU and Master Peace Ignite the Dancefloor with New Single ‘Chemistry’
There’s a specific kind of magic that happens when a production powerhouse meets a rising star, and PNAU’s latest single, “Chemistry” is the perfect case study.
The multi-platinum Australian trio—Nick Littlemore, Peter Mayes, and Sam Littlemore—are back, and they’ve teamed up with the electric UK artist Master Peace for a track that feels like an instant shot of adrenaline. It’s a bold follow-up to their recent run of singles and keeps the momentum high as we count down to their seventh studio album, AHHCADE, dropping on July 31, 2026.
From LA to London: The Making of the Track
It’s fascinating to hear how this one came together. Nick Littlemore has shared that the initial spark for “Chemistry” actually happened in Los Angeles, in a place with a bit of history: Marilyn Monroe’s former apartment.
Littlemore was chasing a very specific sonic collision—something that sat somewhere between the classic, gritty energy of Koma by Interactive and the experimental edge of Vitamin C by CAN. It wasn’t until he connected with Master Peace in London that the track truly found its soul. Add in the lush, soaring vocal arrangements from their Mexico City choir, and you have a track that’s equal parts club-banger and art-pop masterpiece.
As Master Peace put it, joining forces with the trio was a massive moment: “It feels like an honour to be on a track with these legends. I’ve always been a fan of their stuff and electronic music in general, so to get the call up and collaborate with PNAU means the world to me!”
Why PNAU Still Leads the Pack
If you’ve been following the Aussie electronic scene, you know PNAU isn’t just a band; they’re an institution. Their journey from the sweat-soaked underground clubs and festival circuits of Australia to global stardom is nothing short of legendary.
Between Nick’s work with Empire of the Sun, Vlossom, and Teenager, and the trio’s relentless commitment to refining their sound, they’ve managed to stay ahead of the curve. They’ve perfected the art of the “wonky pop” anthem—tracks that are catchy enough for the radio but carry the underground DNA that keeps the dancefloor moving until sunrise.
The Road to ‘AHHCADE’
“Chemistry” is the latest piece of the puzzle for AHHCADE. If you’ve been paying attention to their recent releases—including “Tu Corazon (Your Heart)” with The Warning, “Nirvana” with EARTHGANG and sadMONTH, and “Crash” with Maleigh Zan—you know that this album is shaping up to be their most eclectic and ambitious project yet.
Want to hear it live? The band is currently touring their Nirvana Tour across Australia’s East Coast. It’s the perfect opportunity to see these new tracks in their natural habitat before the full album lands at the end of the month.
“Chemistry” is out now. Make sure to give it a spin, and keep an eye out for AHHCADE—it’s shaping up to be a defining moment for electronic music this year.
