Erwin de Ruiter was a professional musician in the 80ties. With his bands he played support acts in his hometown Amsterdam for The Clash, Echo & The Bunnymen, The B52’s, The Shirts and The Only Ones. He picked up songwriting again in 2012 and he writes in many genres including blues, jazz, pop, folk, rock, dance and country.
His song “Payback Time” was used in the US movie Debt Collectors and “Harvest Moon” was used in the US TV series Reign (Season 2 Episode 6), his song βLord Here I amβ in the US TV series Star (Season 2 Episode 6) and “When the World is on Ya” in an Italian Ad for Nero Giardini. Erwin writes under his own name but is also part of different projects like Two Armed Bandits and H2H which were both signed by the largest Italian Indie record company Time Records Spa.
